As the Nigerian Bar Association’s National Executive Council (NBA NEC) convenes in Akure, Ondo State, for its first meeting of the year, Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe SAN, former Chairman of NBA Lagos Branch, welcomes all NEC members to the Meeting
In a warm message to the NEC members, Akangbe, SAN extended his heartfelt welcome to the President of the NBA and all other executive in attendance.
“I wish to extend a warm welcome to the President and Members of the NBA NEC as we gather here in Akure, Ondo State, for the first NEC meeting of the year. May your deliberations be impactful, and may the resolutions reached pave the way for progress in our profession and association,” Akangbe stated.
The NEC meeting is a significant event in the NBA calendar, serving as a platform for high-level discussions on the state of the legal profession, policy-making, and strategic direction for the association. It is expected that key issues such as legal reforms, professional development, and advocacy efforts will take center stage.
