I welcome the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, the National Officers, and all esteemed members of the National Executive Council to the ancient and harmonious city of Ilorin for this august NEC Meeting.
Ilorin, with its quiet dignity and rich heritage, offers a perfect setting for sober reflection and earnest dialogue. In these times when the moral fabric of our nation is tested, the Bar must stand as the temple of conscience and the last beacon of reason.
This meeting is not merely about sharing ideas, but about fulfilling our duty—duty to the law, to justice, and to our nation, Nigeria.
As you deliberate on the way forward, may your resolutions echo the enduring values of truth, equity, and service.
