Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, SAN Extends Islamic New Year Greetings to Muslim Lawyers, Calls for Unity and Service Within the Bar

Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, SAN has extended warm felicitations to Muslim lawyers and the wider Muslim community on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, praying for peace, divine guidance, renewed hope, and abundant blessings in the new Hijri year. He noted that the occasion provides an opportunity for reflection on the enduring values of faith, sacrifice, service, and communal harmony.

In his goodwill message, the NBA presidential candidate urged members of the legal profession to continue working together towards a stronger, more united, and impactful Nigerian Bar Association. Akangbe reaffirmed his commitment to building an Association that creates greater opportunities for lawyers and advances the collective interests of the profession. He also encouraged members of the Bar to embrace the spirit of unity and collaboration as the Association prepares for its 2026 elections, while wishing the Muslim Ummah a peaceful and prosperous Hijrah celebration.

As we celebrate the Islamic New Year, I extend my warmest wishes to our Muslim colleagues and the entire Muslim Ummah.

May this new Hijri year bring peace, renewed hope, divine guidance, and abundant blessings to you, your families, and our nation.

As we reflect on the values of faith, service, sacrifice, and community, may we continue to work together for a stronger, more united, and more impactful Bar.

I remain committed to building a Nigerian Bar Association that works for every lawyer and creates greater opportunities for all.
