Today – July 1st marks the start of the second half of 2025 — and with it, an opportunity to pause, reflect, and realign.
The 7th month, July, carries weight. Culturally, even practically, seven often symbolizes completeness and new beginnings. It reminds us that time is moving, and so must we – with purpose.
To my fellow colleagues in the legal profession: whether you’re in active practice, academia, public service, or shaping policy behind the scenes, I urge us to take stock of the journey so far, and approach the months ahead with renewed energy and clarity.
There’s still so much ground to cover. Let’s keep showing up — with integrity, with boldness, and with the quiet confidence that our work matters.
