International Day of the Girl Child celebration themed “Girls With Dreams Become Women With Vision,”: Efe Etomi Inspiring Girls to become women with vision

As part of the 2025 International Day of the Girl Child celebration themed “Girls With Dreams Become Women With Vision,” Justice Vault Foundation is proud to feature Mrs. Efe Etomi as one of the distinguished speakers at the event holding at Holy Child College, Lagos.

Efe Etomi is an accomplished legal professional with a career spanning over three decades. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 1989, she has distinguished herself in multiple areas of law including Corporate and Commercial Law, Employment and Labour Law, Energy Law, Family Law, and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators and a member of respected bodies such as the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Bar Association, and the National Judicial Council.

A former President of the African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) Nigeria, Mrs. Etomi has been a consistent advocate for women’s rights, empowerment, and access to justice. Her contributions to organizations such as FIDA and the International Academy of Family Lawyers highlight her commitment to promoting gender equality and strengthening the legal profession.

Through her participation in this year’s International Day of the Girl Child event, Mrs. Etomi will inspire young girls to believe in their dreams, develop confidence, and pursue excellence. Her life and achievements perfectly embody the event’s theme — proving that when girls are encouraged to dream, they grow into women who lead with vision and purpose.
