The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun is set to launch a Special Intervention Squad (SIS), to curb the activities of kidnappers in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
He said the special operations, when launched, would be deployed to all Area Councils in the FCT.
For some weeks now bandits have been kidnapping and killing residents of Bwari Area Council.
