Today, I joined the National Association of Catholic Lawyers, Lagos Archdiocese, as we gathered for the annual New Legal Year Mass at the Holy Cross Cathedral, Lagos. It was a remarkable event, bringing together Catholic lawyers from across Lagos to start the new legal year on a spiritually uplifting note.
The clergy’s inspiring message emphasized our collective responsibility as lawyers to champion justice and address societal challenges. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow Catholic lawyers and reflect on the vital role we play in promoting justice in our society.
As we embark on this new legal year, let us carry forward this charge and continue to make a positive impact.
