How Police Busted ‘One Chance’ Robbery Syndicate During Operation

Police operatives from the Lagos State Command have busted and arrested a robbery syndicate led by a 36-year old woman, Folashade Sholagbe and her male partner, Seun Oke, 29, during operations in the state.

Apart from arresting the suspects, the Police also recovered their operational vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, as exhibit during the operation.
This was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed that the suspects were in Police custody undergoing interrogation and the vehicle recovered as exhibit.

Hundeyin explained that the suspects were arrested by the Police operatives of the Lagos State Command from Iju Division following routine monitoring and intelligence gathering in the area which paid off.

He stated that the Police smashed the ‘one chance’ robbery syndicate, comprising a woman and a man, following the screaming for help by their victim and the Police responded promptly.

SP Hundeyin stated in his Twitter handle: “Eagle-eyed officers of Iju Division have arrested a ‘one chance’ syndicate following their victim’s scream for help. The suspects, Folashade Sholagbe ‘f’ aged 36 and Seun Oke ‘m’ aged 29 specialized in picking their victims with their Corolla (pictured) at 7up by Toll gate”.

He further stated that the suspects will be charged before the Court for the alleged offence under the Criminal Laws of the State but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
