The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Lagos Branch has announced that the Closing Party for its 2026 Law Week will be open to all members of the Branch, irrespective of whether they registered for the week’s activities.
In a statement issued by the Branch’s Publicity Secretary, Oliver Omoredia, members were invited to join colleagues for the grand finale of the 2026 Law Week on Friday, 3 July 2026, at The Colonnades, Alfred Rewane Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. The event, which will commence at 6:00 p.m., is expected to provide an atmosphere of relaxation, networking, and celebration following a week of professional engagements under the theme “Lawyering in the Digital Age: Navigating Technology, Justice & Innovation.”
The Branch stated that the decision to open the Closing Party to every member reflects its commitment to fostering fellowship and inclusiveness within the legal community. Organisers assured attendees that refreshments would be available throughout the evening while encouraging members to observe responsible behaviour by making adequate transportation arrangements and avoiding drinking and driving.
The Closing Party is expected to bring the curtain down on a successful NBA Lagos Law Week 2026, providing members with another opportunity to strengthen professional relationships and celebrate the achievements of the Premier Bar.
