Governor Okpebholo Constitutes Boundary Committee to Check Insecurity

Edo state governor Monday Okpebholo has constituted a seven member committee of the state boundary committee with the aim of checking the influx of criminals within the three neighbouring states.

The governor constituted the committee at the government house in Benin city the Edo state capital, in line with his promise of finding a lasting solution to the insecurity challenges and boundary demarcation.

Addressing the committee members, governor Okpebholo said the capabilities of the committee members will go a long way in addressing the challenges emanating from its boundaries.

Responding, chairman of the committee Dr. Felix Obaze promised to promote peaceful co-existence with neighbouring states.
