Rivers state governor Siminalayi Fubara has promised to. Change the narrative by channeling the energy of the state government into supporting the Armed forces and their families while they are alive.
Governor Fubara made the disclosure on Sunday during the Armed forces remembrance day service at the Anglican church in Port Harcourt the state capital.
According to the governor, more emphasis will be placed on supporting the Armed forces, rather than only remembering the dead.
He called on religious bodies in the state not to allow the pulpit to be used to cast aspersions but for the unity of the state.
