OKEY OHAGBA ON GOOD FRIDAY 2026:
A SOBER REFLECTION ON TRUE SACRIFICE, LOVE & HOPE OF REDEMPTION
Beloved Bar leaders and colleagues of the Christian Faith,
Christ’s crucifixion and death on Calvary’s cross have washed away our iniquities, travails, and tribulations. May He renew our strengths and grant us the wisdom to seek justice with integrity.
As we commemorate Good Friday today, let us reflect soberly on the profound sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross. A sacrifice rooted in total obedience to divine purpose and love for mankind. It reminds us that true strength is revealed in sacrifice, and true victory is born through surrender.
Good Friday teaches us that love is stronger than hate, and hope stronger than despair.
May this sacred moment continue to christen us – drawing us closer and deeper in love with Christ and mankind, as we strive for truth and justice in our practice and career.
HAVE A BLESSED GOOD FRIDAY !
With compliments, Okey Leo Ohagba, Esq. Past National Officer, NBA.
