My dear learned seniors and colleagues,

As Christians all over the world mark Good Friday—a day that symbolizes sacrifice, justice, and hope—I extend my heartfelt wishes to each of you and your families.

This sacred day calls for sober reflection on the values that unite us as legal practitioners: service, empathy, and a deep commitment to doing what is right, even in the face of adversity. As we navigate the complexities of our noble profession, may we draw inspiration from Christ’s uncommon demonstration of sacrificial love, which today represents.

As ministers in the temple of justice, may we continue to uphold the rule of law with integrity, courage, and compassion—ensuring that justice is not only done but is manifestly seen to be done.

May this season rekindle our purpose, renew our spirits, and deepen our dedication to the ideals that make our profession noble.

Have a peaceful and reflective Good Friday.
