Former President Attributes Food Security as Nigeria’s Major Problem

Former President of Nigeria Goodluck Jonathan has attributed the major problem facing the nation to food security.

The former president made this known on Sunday while speaking as the special guest in an occasion marking the first festival of food, arts and culture in Etchie community of Rivers state.

According to the former president, the crisis in some parts of the country has made it difficult for people to afford food.

Speaking further, he called for a peaceful Rivers state as the governor commended the former president for his support during tough times.

The high point of the occasion was the display of different food items to portray Etchie community as the food basket of Rivers state.
