Final Day of NBA ICLE’s Mastering Blockchain for Lawyers Training: Senator Ihenyen to address Legal Challenges and Opportunities in Regulatory Compliance in Blockchain

It’s the last day of the NBA-ICLE 4-day training on mastering blockchain scheduled for today, February 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. The NBA-ICLE training on blockchain for lawyers, which started on February 15, 2024, has been truly insightful, as testimonies from participants continue to pour in, attesting that the training content was enriching and very timely.

In today’s final session of the training, Senator Ihenyen, the lead partner at Infusion Lawyers, will educate participants on the legal challenges and opportunities in regulatory compliance in the blockchain context. Participants at the end of the training will be able to better understand and appreciate the global regulatory landscape for blockchain and cryptocurrencies, anti-money laundering (AML), and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT).

In light of today’s increasingly privacy-centric world, Senator, who is the Head of Blockchain and Virtual Assets Practice at Infusion Lawyers, will also take participants on a deep dive into the protection and privacy regulations in blockchain adoption, regardless of the sector of blockchain application.

Lastly, the astute speaker, who is also an immediate former leader of the Nigerian Blockchain Association, will further highlight future trends and innovations that participants should look out for if they wish to maximise the opportunities offered in the blockchain space and emerging technologies sector to build more successful legal careers.
