It was a great honour to join the distinguished members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Bar Association Makurdi Branch, in celebrating their 2026 Law Week themed “The Legal Profession: Embracing the Future.”
The theme is both timely and profound, especially in this season of transformation within our profession. As the legal landscape continues to evolve with technology, innovation, and changing societal expectations, the call for the Bar to embrace the future is not only necessary but urgent.
I was deeply touched by the warmth of reception, the genuine love shown to me, and the remarkable atmosphere of unity, professionalism, and hospitality that defined the event. From the engaging conversations to the excellent organisation, it was evident that NBA Makurdi Branch remains committed to the growth of the profession and the welfare of its members.
