Twitter’s successor, Elon Musk’s X, has begun compensating verified users for their tweets based on ad income.
Users revealed this through a text on the platform on Tuesday.
X user, Abbaz said: “Woke up to receive alert, Thank you Elon❤️”
Mr Black said: “People who tweet 24/7 will no longer be considered jobless thanks to Elon Musk🐐🔥”
However, to be eligible for monetisation on X, user(s) must be subscribed to X’s verification badge, have a minimum of 500 followers and have generated at least 15 million impressions in the last 3 months.
