The Osun State Police Command has assured the residents of the state that it has put in place adequate security arrangements to ensure that the Eid-el-Kabir is celebrated peacefully.
In a statement by the Commissioner of Police, Patrick Kehinde Longe and made available by Command Spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, the police also assured that it has put in place proactive security mechanisms to guarantee safety of lives and property of the entire citizens before, during and beyond this festivity.
“It is however pertinent to advise the residents and visitors in the State to use halls/enclosed areas for any party instead of celebrating on the streets.
“Also, they should be security conscious and comport themselves in accordance with the provisions of the law.”
