Presidential candidate of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lateef Omoyemi Akangbe, has extended warm Eid al-Adha greetings to Muslim faithfuls across Nigeria and the global legal community, calling on citizens to uphold the enduring values of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and communal unity which the sacred celebration represents.
In his goodwill message commemorating the 2026 Eid al-Adha celebration, Akangbe, SAN, noted that the season serves as a reminder of the importance of obedience to God, selflessness, tolerance, and commitment to collective progress. He expressed hope that the lessons of Sallah would inspire greater dedication to justice, service, and harmony within the legal profession and the nation at large, while praying for peace, prosperity, renewed hope, and divine favour upon Nigerians and their families.

As we mark this year’s Eid alAdha celebration, I extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitations to all Muslim faithfuls across Nigeria and the global legal community.
Eid alAdha is a time of reflection, sacrifice, devotion, and gratitude to the Almighty. It reminds us of the enduring values of faith, obedience, compassion, and communal unity, virtues that strengthen our shared humanity and deepen the bonds that hold our society together.
At this significant moment in our national and professional journey, may the lessons of Sallah inspire us all towards greater service, tolerance, justice, and commitment to the collective progress of our nation and the Nigerian Bar.
I celebrate with all Muslims on this joyous occasion and pray that the blessings of Sallah bring peace, prosperity, renewed hope, and divine favour to our homes, communities, the legal profession, and our great nation.
