EFCC Arrests Five Suspects For Forging AGF And ONSA Letterheads

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended five individuals over allegations of orchestrating a fraudulent scheme using counterfeit letterheads from the Offices of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice.

The suspects are accused of exploiting these forged documents to unlawfully solicit funds from unsuspecting individuals.

In a statement released on Monday, EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwujaren provided details of the arrest, which occurred on August 24, 2023. The suspects have been identified as Yakubu Mohammed, Bashir Ladan, Adamu Ibrahim, Steven Anom, and Mohammed Bello.

According to the EFCC, the suspects purportedly collaborated to fabricate imitation.
