23 suspected internet fraudsters are now cooling their heels in the detention of the Ibadan Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The 23 internet fraudsters according to information obtained from the EFCC were arrested in the Apata, Ire Akari Estate and Jericho areas of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The EFCC revealed that the suspects were arrested following credible intelligence on their alleged computer fraud-related activities and seven exotic cars, mobile phones, laptops and several incriminating documents were recovered from them.
It was gathered that sixteen of the suspects were indicted by forensic analyses carried out on their devices and the incriminating documents recovered from them.
The remaining seven are still under investigation.
