ECNBA’s certification of Mr. Okey Leo Ohagba as a candidate for the office of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) General Secretary in the 2026 national elections has continued to generate reactions within the legal community, with supporters and colleagues rallying behind his “Innovative Secretariat” vision. Ohagba, a past National Officer of the NBA, expressed gratitude to Bar leaders, colleagues, and friends for their unwavering encouragement and support since the commencement of his campaign.
In a goodwill message shared following his clearance by the Electoral Committee of the NBA (ECNBA), the General Secretary hopeful described the journey ahead as one centered on service, innovation, and excellence. He called on members of the Bar to join hands with him in advancing a progressive agenda for the association, while expressing optimism that the collective vision for an “Innovative Secretariat” would be achieved successfully.
