President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reassured Nigerians of his administration’s resolve to restore peace and security emphasising that clear directives has been issued to the Armed Forces and relevant security agencies to end insecurity decisively and without delay.
The President stated this in an Easter Message he personally signed on Friday.
The Nigerian Leader asserted that with the unwavering courage and commitment of gallant security officers, the federal government is turning the tide of insecurity and making steady progress in reclaiming peace and stability across the country.
President Tinubu lauded Nigerians resilience and patience, giving the reassurance that Nigeria’s economy has continued to show encouraging signs of recovery.
The President reaffirmed that his administration is working tirelessly to restore investor’s confidence, stabilise key sectors, and build an inclusive economy that serves the interests of all Nigerians.
Felicitating with Christians in Nigeria and worldwide on the commemoration of Easter, the celebration of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, the President called on Christian faithful to reflect deeply on the enduring values of sacrifice, redemption, love, and hope.
He said as the leader of Nigeria, he draws inspiration from the timeless message of hope and renewal of Easter, he pledged steadfastness in his commitment to delivering the promise of a Renewed Hope, for a better, more just and prosperous Nigeria for all.
The Nigerian Leader joined the global Christian community in thanking God for Pope Francis’s recovery while also praying that his renewed strength continues to inspire his leadership and service to humanity.
President Tinubu however wished all Nigerians a Happy Easter celebration.
