Dr. Rapulu Ernest Nduka, Past National Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and Candidate for the Office of General Secretary of the NBA, participated in the National Conference of Egbe Amofin Osun, themed “Advancing Constitutional Democracy, Accountability and Responsible Governance.”
The conference featured robust and thought-provoking discussions on constitutionalism, democratic governance, accountability in public institutions, and the role of legal practitioners in safeguarding democratic values. The sessions were engaging, insightful, and reflective of the critical challenges and opportunities facing Nigeria’s democracy.
During the conference, Dr. Nduka interacted with members of the Bar from across the country and shared his vision for a more efficient, responsive, and technology-driven NBA Secretariat. He highlighted his experience in Bar service, his academic background in Information Technology and Cyber Law, and his track record of innovation and leadership within the NBA as factors that uniquely qualify him for the office of General Secretary.
Dr. Nduka expressed appreciation to the leadership of Egbe Amofin Osun, led by Aare Isiaka Abiola Olagunju, SAN, for organizing a successful and impactful conference. He commended the association for sustaining a platform that encourages meaningful dialogue on constitutional democracy, accountability, and responsible governance.
He noted that the conference reaffirmed the important role lawyers must continue to play in strengthening democratic institutions, promoting accountability, and advancing the rule of law in Nigeria.
