Justice Rahman Oshodi of the special offences court of lagos state high court of Justice has struck out application challenging jurisdiction for the fraud case filed against the former governor of central bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele.
At the last hearing, the counsel to Godwin Emefiele, Olalekan Ojo SAN brought the application challenging the jurisdiction of an Ikeja high court to sit on the fraud case with the claim that the offence was committed in Abuja and the institution where the offence were committed is a federal organisation.
Ruling on the application, Justice Rahman Oshodi struck it out on the premise that most part of the offences were done in Lagos.
