The Council of Legal Education has approved the results of the May 2026 Bar Final (Resit) Examination, with 885 out of the 1,955 candidates who sat for the examination recording outright passes.
The results, approved at the Council’s Third Quarter Hybrid Meeting held on Thursday, 13 August 2026, showed that 55 candidates obtained Conditional Passes, while 983 candidates failed. A further 32 candidates were absent and the results of 19 candidates were withheld. The examination therefore recorded an overall 45.3% pass rate, with 54.7% of candidates failing to attain the prescribed pass mark.

The Council of Legal Education, at its Third Quarter Hybrid Meeting held on Thursday, 13 August 2026, approved the results of the May 2026 Bar Final (Resit) Examination.
A total of 1,955 candidates sat for the examination. The results are summarised as follows:
• Pass: 885 candidates
• Conditional Pass: 55 candidates
• Fail: 983 candidates
• Absent: 32 candidates
• Withheld: 19 candidates
The results recorded an overall pass rate of 45.3 %. 54.7% of the candidates did not attain the prescribed pass mark.
