Council of Legal Education Announces The Commencement of 2023 Bar Part I Admissions

The Nigerian Law School has announced the admission into the Bar Part I Programme for the 2023 Academic Session.

The application process is set to commence on Tuesday, 1st August 2023, and will close on Thursday, 31st August 2023.

The portal for Bar I 2023/2024 Application will be officially open from Monday, August 7, 2023, as per the latest notice from the Nigerian Law School.

The Bar Part I Programme is highly anticipated and is scheduled to begin on Monday, 27th November 2023, at the prestigious Headquarters located in Bwari, Abuja.

Prospective applicants should meet certain admission requirements. The Bar Part I Course is open to graduates of Law from Common Law Countries, provided their Law courses have been approved by the Council of Legal Education. However, it’s important to note that degrees obtained through part-time, Open University, Long Distance Learning, or online modes of study are not recognized for admission to the programme.

How to Apply: Prospective applicants are requested to visit the official Nigerian Law School website at www.nigerianlawschool.edu.ng. Follow the provided instructions, complete the application forms, and submit them online. After successful submission, candidates are required to download and forward copies of each completed form (A2, B, B1, and B2) to the Nigerian Law School.

Closing Date: Downloaded application documents must be returned to the Nigerian Law School on or before Friday, 15th September, 2023. To ensure a smooth application process, applicants must ensure that their original Academic Transcripts and References are received directly from their Universities and Employers on or before Friday, 29th September, 2023. Late submission of application documents will not be entertained.
