Coach Bags 15 Years Sentence For Sexually Abusing 7 Teenage Boys

Self-appointed youth football coach Emmanuel Igwebuike, who was found guilty of abusing his position by sexually assaulting seven teenage boys has been sentenced to 15 years in currently in jail.

Emmanuel Igwebuike, was sentenced on Friday, 9 September at the Inner London Crown Court to 15 years’ imprisonment. He was also given a lifelong Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will also be on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

He was found guilty of 22 counts of sexual assault at the same court on Friday, 8 April 2022 following a five-week trial.

The offences relate to seven male victims who were aged between 14 and 18 years at the time of the offences.
