Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, has urged every key stakeholder to work together to address gender-based violence and other concerns in the nation, such as human trafficking.
This was made known at the 2023 Biennial Conference of the National Association of Women Judges in Nigeria, Justice Ariwoola delivered a speech during the opening ceremony.
According to the CJN, the battle against human trafficking is necessary since it disproportionately affects women and other vulnerable members of society.
He claims that the main problem, which now includes organ harvesting, is a cankerworm that is deeply ingesting the nation in all areas.
However, he urged all female judges to uphold the rule of law and ensure women get equal access to justice in the country.
