The prestigious 2024 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch Dinner was a night of glitz, glamour, and celebration, as outstanding legal practitioners were honored for their contributions to the legal profession and society at large. The event, held on the 7th December, 2024 brought together esteemed members of the legal community, judiciary, and key stakeholders.
In his opening remarks, the Chairman of the NBA Lagos Branch, Olabisi Makanjuola emphasized the importance of recognizing excellence within the legal profession, stating, “Tonight, we celebrate the achievements of lawyers who have gone above and beyond in their service to justice, the rule of law, and our community.”
The evening’s highlight was the presentation of awards to distinguished lawyers under Judicial Excellence and Elevation to the Inner Bar. Among the honorees was the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, Hon Justice Habeeb Adeawale Abiru, Hon Justice Nnamdi Okay Dimgba, Hon Justice Abisoye Jubril Bashua and others recognized for their innovative approach and contribution to the growth of the legal field under Judicialudicial Excellence category.
Attendees enjoyed an evening of fine dining, live entertainment, and networking opportunities. The event served as a platform to strengthen bonds within the legal community while celebrating the accomplishments of its members.
