CITY LAWYER PUBLISHER, NWADIOKE BURIES MOTHER APRIL 7

Senior lawyer and President of CITY LAWYER Magazine, Mr. Emeka Nwadioke, has announced that his late mother, Dame Roseline Chinwe Nwadioke, will be laid to rest on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, which falls on Easter Tuesday. Dame Nwadioke passed away at the Federal Medical Centre, Lagos, after a brief illness. She was 95 years old.

According to funeral arrangements released by the family, a Service of Songs will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Saint Augustine’s Anglican Church, Anthony Village, Lagos. The Anambra State ceremonies will begin on Monday, April 6, 2026, with another Service of Songs at 5:00 p.m. at her family compound in Umuazu Village, Nise, Awka South Local Government Area.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, her body will leave Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital Mortuary, Awka, making a brief stop at her father’s compound in Ngodo, Nise, before proceeding for lying-in-state at her residence in Umuazu, Nise. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at Saint John’s Anglican Church, Nise, after which a private interment will follow at the family compound. Guests will thereafter be received at the Umuazu Civic Centre, Nise.

In an earlier tribute, Nwadioke, a former Council Member of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) and former Publicity Secretary of the NBA Lagos Branch, described his mother as the bedrock of the family and a source of enduring strength and love. He expressed gratitude for the outpouring of prayers and support, noting that condolence messages may be sent via email or through the family’s memorial page.
