Senator representing Ondo South, Jimoh Ibrahim has called on the Federal Government and Police to as a matter of urgency charge senator Abdul Ningi for Alleged misinformation and conduct that has caused bridge of peace that Nigeria operates two budgets.
Briefing journalists on Monday in Abuja, Senator Ibrahim insists that if the senate does not charge senator Ningi in the next seven days , he will write to the inspector General of Police to commence investigation on the alleged approval of two budgets in 2024.
Jimoh Ibrahim states that Ningi’s claims are totally false and as such , the charges against Ningi must be referred to the criminal justice department of the Government for thorough investigation .
Senator Ibrahim however threatened to approach the court for an order of Mandamus to compel a public officer to do his job.
