Candidate for the office of General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Rapulu Nduka, has extended Children’s Day felicitations to Nigerian children while also drawing attention to the plight of those still held in kidnappers’ dens across the country. In his message, he described children as both the nation’s joy today and its hope for tomorrow, but noted that ongoing insecurity continues to cast a shadow over national celebrations.
Dr. Nduka urged collective efforts toward building a safer society where every child can grow in freedom, security, and happiness, stressing that the celebration of Children’s Day remains incomplete as long as any child is subjected to fear or captivity. He called for sustained commitment to national safety and the protection of vulnerable citizens, reaffirming his aspiration for a more secure and responsive justice system within the Nigerian Bar Association and the country at large.
