The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has refuted alleged plans to phase out the newly redesigned naira notes.
Recall that the Central Bank of Nigeria had extended the deadline for the circulation of the old #1000, #500 and #200 naira notes to December 31, 2023.
According to the disclaimer issued today by CBN, the new notes had been circulated side by side with the new naira notes in good quantity.
