The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has won the 2022 Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASMEs) Award for its superior corporate governance and regulation.
Rasheed Mahe, the CAC’s Head of the Media Unit, stated this in a statement on Monday in Abuja.
At the NASMEs 25th Anniversary Lecture and Award Night, which was recently held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Mahe stated that the CAC had added another achievement to its resume.
According to the statement, Dr Abdulrashid Yerima, NASMEs president commended the commission for its support toward promoting the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the country.
The Registrar-General of CAC, Alhaji Garba Abubakar, who received the award thanked NASMEs for recognising the commission’s contributions toward promoting MSMEs’ development in the country.
Duke Ukaga, the Director, Public Affairs of the commission, who represented Abubakar pledged continued support and collaboration with the association to further grow the MSMEs sector.
