Buhari Presents Integrity Award to Officer Who Rejected $200k Bribe

President Muhammadu Buhari today, presented the Public Service Integrity Award to CSP Daniel Itse Amah who rejected $200,000 from a robber.

Amah had led the operation that resulted in the arrest of a suspected robber identified as Ali Zaki who was involved in the theft of ₦320,500,000 in Kano State.

Zaki reportedly offered to bribe Amah in order to cover up the crime, which was declined.

The presentation was done during the 4th National Summit on Diminishing Corruption in the Public Sector.
