The Body of Benchers has officially announced the dates for the Call to Bar ceremonies for candidates who successfully passed the December 2025 Bar Final Examination. According to a notice signed by the Secretary of the Body of Benchers, Daniel M. Tela, Esq., the ceremonies are scheduled to hold from Tuesday, July 7 to Friday, July 10, 2026, at the Body of Benchers Complex, No. 12, YC Maikyau Crescent, Institution and Research District, FCC Phase III, Abuja.
The notice, addressed to members of the Body of Benchers and aspirants to the Bar, outlined the daily schedule for the ceremonies. Proceedings will commence at 11:00 a.m. on July 7, 8, and 10, while the ceremony for July 9 is slated for 2:00 p.m. Candidates and stakeholders have been advised to take note of the designated dates and times for their respective Call sessions.
The Body of Benchers further stated that additional details regarding the ceremonies will be communicated in due course. The announcement marks a significant milestone for the successful candidates, who are set to be formally inducted into the legal profession after completing the rigorous requirements of legal education and professional training in Nigeria.
