The African Women Lawyers Association (AWLA) Nigeria is set to host a groundbreaking event on the theme, “Digital Advocacy: Leveraging Technology for Inclusion.” Scheduled for August 27, 2024, at 10:00 am, the event will take place at the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) Towers, 42 Saka Tinubu Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
This event aims to explore the transformative role of technology in advocating for the rights and inclusion of women in the legal profession, particularly young female lawyers who are just beginning their careers.
In a bid to support and empower female lawyers within their first five years of post-call experience, AWLA Nigeria is offering free membership registration to all registered participants. The event promises an array of engaging activities, including a raffle draw with enticing prizes, a quiz competition, and special gifts and gift bags for the first ten registrants.
Attendees will also benefit from a medical outreach program, which will provide essential health checks, emphasizing AWLA’s commitment to the well-being of its members.
