The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has threatened to go on another nationwide strike if its demands are not met by the government.
The warning was issued on Tuesday by the union President. Professor Emmanuel Osodeke tt a news conference held on Tuesday at the ASUU national headquarters in Abuja.
He attributed the forthcoming strike action to the federal government’s inaction following the dissolution of the university governing council in May of last year.
According to Osodeke, the public must be consulted before the government makes any decisions.
