The Academic Staff Union of Universities, or ASUU, has stated that it will review the Appeal Court’s decision ordering the union to end its strike in order to decide its course of action.
The appeals court ruled on Friday that the union must immediately resume work as previously mandated by the National Industrial Court.
ASUU President Professor Emmanuel Osodeke responded to the new court verdict by stating that the union has not yet received the Appeal Court decision in writing.
He said, “We have not received the ruling, when we get it, we will review it with our lawyer and then we can take the next step”.
Recall how the Federal Government dragged the university lecturer into the dispute after failing to establish a resolution.
