APC Accepts Supreme Court’s Rulings on Six Governors

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially acknowledged its acceptance of the Supreme Court decisions regarding election petitions challenging the outcomes of the 2023 governorship elections in six states.

This statement was communicated by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in a statement issued on Friday in Abuja.

Morka declared: “in every contest, you win some and lose some”.

He said the APC as a party, would continue to submit to the dictates of the rule of law.

The apex court affirmed APC’s gubernatorial mandates in Gombe, Ogun, Nasarawa, Kaduna and Kebbi states.

The court, however, decided in favour of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta.

“In every contest, you win some and lose some, but we must all continue to submit to the dictates of the rule of law and constitutional order.

“We congratulate the winners, particularly our Governors, Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Uba Sani (Kaduna) and Nasir Idris (Kebbi),” he said.

The APC spokesman therefore, urged all the party’s members to remain calm and peaceful.
