The Nigerian Bar Association Lagos branch has made it known to its members of the fact that all payments of branch dues must be done online.
This was disclosed through Anthonia Eke, Financial Secretary NBA Lagos Branch. He said all payments must be made directly into the Branch’s Bank account either by cash or bank transfer, contrary to earlier instructions to use the membership portal.
In the statement circulated and made available to lawhauz.com, he said payment of branch dues is strictly to be done through the web portal on nbalagos.ng
He, therefore, said the Branch will not process any refund of payment made directly by cash or bank transfer into the Branch’s Bank account until after 31st March 2022.

Refund of direct bank transfers/cash deposits
Dear Members,
We observe that some members have made payment of their Branch Dues directly into the Branch’s Bank account either by cash or bank transfer, contrary to earlier instructions to use the membership portal.
Note:
1.) Payment of Branch Dues is strictly to be done through the web portal on nbalagos.ng.
2.) The Branch will not process any refund of payment made directly by cash or bank transfer into the Branch’s Bank account until after 31st March 2022.
3.) Affected members will be responsible for any transaction bank charges for all refund of any payments made directly into the Branch’s Bank account.
