The International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Lagos Branch is holding its 2024 Law Week on 8th-11th October, 2024.
It is a highly anticipated event that brings together legal professionals, advocates for women’s rights, and stakeholders in the legal community.
The theme for this year’s law week is “Advancing Gender Equality & Economic Growth through inclusive Policy Reforms”
The 2024 Law Week event promises to address contemporary legal issues, with a special focus on gender equality, access to justice for women and children, and advancements in the legal profession.
The law week will start with an Opening Ceremony and Panel Session on Tuesday 8th October, 2024 at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos by 9:00am.
On 9th October, 2024 the law week will showcase a hybrid session on Continuous Legal Education, while Charity Visits & Sensitization Programme will hold on the 10th of October, 2024.
The culmination of the FIDA Lagos 2024 Law Week activities will be the Dinner and Awards ceremony which will hold on Friday, 11th October, 2024
The FIDA Law Week provides a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among lawyers, activists, and policymakers. Additionally, it showcases the achievements of women in the legal profession and addresses ongoing challenges they face in advancing equality and justice.
