AGC 2024: NBA President, Conference Planning Committee Visit Lagos State Governor To Strengthen Collaboration

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN, made a notable courtesy visit to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to discuss the upcoming NBA 2024 Annual General Conference (AGC).

The meeting underscored the commitment of both the NBA and the Lagos State Government to collaborate closely in ensuring that the conference is a success. With Lagos being one of the country’s most vibrant and economically significant states, the discussion focused on logistical planning, security arrangements, and the overall vision for the event.

Among them were the NBA’s General Secretary, Mr. Adesina Adegbite, who plays a crucial role in the organization’s operations, and Olawale Fapohunda, SAN, the Chairman of the NBA 2024 Transition Committee. Also present were Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, Chairperson of the 2024 AGC Planning Committee, and her Alternate Chair, Mrs. Amina Suleiman Kaoje. Their presence at the meeting signaled the importance of a unified approach in coordinating the various elements of the conference.
