I have been officially cleared by the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) to contest for the office of President of the Nigerian Bar Association.
I receive this development with humility and a deep sense of responsibility to the profession that has shaped my life and practice.
As a former Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Lagos Branch, I have been privileged to serve the Bar in a leadership capacity, with focus on strengthening professional standards, advancing institutional development, and promoting the welfare of legal practitioners.
Over the years, my service within the Bar has been guided by a commitment to service, the rule of law, and the continuous improvement of our Association. I remain deeply mindful of the need for a Bar that works for all its members and responds effectively to the evolving demands of our profession.
This marks an important stage in the NBA electoral process. I proceed with a continued sense of duty, respect for due process, and unwavering commitment to the values that unite us as members of the Bar.
